We are living in a world filled with hopeless news. There is this economic crisis that overwhelms the people. There are brutal killings that happen anywhere and everywhere. There are sudden calamities that change the routine of people. Fear started to take root in people’s hearts. It looks like there is no hope. It looks like there is no better tomorrow. What seems a greener pasture becomes a land of desolation. Bad news is the headline!

However, as a child of God, good news is the banner. When the world says there is no hope, the Word says there is hope (Jeremiah 29:11). When the medical science says there is no cure, His Word promises healing (Mark 1:24). When the people says that you are worthless, His Word says you are precious – He died for you on the Cross of Calvary (John 3:16). When the doubters said it is impossible, God’s Word says everything is possible to those who believe (Matthew 19:26). Shake off negativity and unbelief and know that you are meant for greatness. You are designed to excel. You are meant to be the head and not the tail (Deut. 28:13). The seeds of victory have already been deposited in you. You are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37. You have the mind of Christ (1 Cor 2:16).

Don’t be affected by what you see. Don’t be affected by what you hear. Get out from your comfort zone. Do something far bigger and believe on someone bigger than yourself.

Decide to remove fear from your system for God will not give you a spirit of fear but a spirit of power and sound mind (2 Tim 1:7).

When the way you look at things will be clouded with unbelief, decide to eliminate it and keep going. You are living by faith, and not with what you see (2 Cor 5:7).

And as you paddle in the midst of tumultuous waves, just keep on paddling. Our God is far bigger than any turbulent circumstances. Anything you see that may seem swept you away from your God-given destiny is too little compared to surpassing greatness of Jesus Christ.

Be brave. Be strong. Don’t be afraid. Just believe. Your future is big and great in the hands of our Maker!
